Make Public Announcement

An agency makes a formal public announcement (at the local level and via FedBizOpps.gov) for each streamlined or standard competition. The public announcement must include, at the minimum, the following:

1. agency,
2. agency component,
3. location,
4. type of competition (streamlined or standard),
5. activity being competed,
6. incumbent service providers,
7. number of government personnel performing the activity,
8. name of the CSO,
9. name of the contracting officer,
10. name of the ATO,
11. and projected end date of the competition.

The public announcement date is the official start date for a streamlined or standard competition.
