Make Public Announcement
An agency makes a formal public announcement (at the local level and via FedBizOpps.gov)
for each streamlined or standard competition. The public announcement must include,
at the minimum, the following:
- agency,
- agency component,
- location,
- type of competition (streamlined or standard),
- activity being competed,
- incumbent service providers,
- number of government personnel performing the activity,
- name of the CSO,
- name of the contracting officer,
- name of the ATO,
- and projected end date of the competition.
The public announcement date is the official start date for a streamlined or standard
competition.
