SHARE A-76! is a place for stakeholders throughout the federal community to share
knowledge and lessons learned about the A-76 process. The website is designed to
capture and communicate the experiences of field operators from all federal agencies,
including contractors and consultants, as well as anyone interested in the A-76
cost comparison process. We hope this website will enable its users to better understand
the A-76 process as well as aid them when performing cost comparisons.
The revised (2003) OMB Circular A-76 states that lessons learned and best practices
resulting from a streamlined or standard competition process shall be posted on
SHARE A-76! Please participate in this project by sharing your experiences and knowledge,
helping others in need of information about the process. For this website to meet
its potential, it must become a common meeting ground for all, including employees
performing the functions being competed and those working on the cost comparisons
themselves. The community of users includes individuals from many communities: functional,
acquisition, manpower, personnel and legal, and auditors, as well as consultants.
Because this site is about users helping users, the more you share and the more
feedback you provide, the richer and more useful this site will become. Please share
